Project Overview
At remote islands, coastal industrial parks and isolated construction sites, power outages may lead to suspended production, communication breakdowns and risks to personnel safety. Unlike urban grids, these remote locations have no backup power circuits, so generators serve as the only power source.
LEES customized high-voltage power solutions for global offshore and harsh environments, equipping every isolated site with independent, reliable and continuous power cores.
Product Highlights
Environmental Adaptability
Offshore settings feature high temperature, humidity and salt spray, causing corrosion on standard equipment. Lees offers multi-level anti-corrosion solutions from C3 to C5. The C5-M (ISO 12944) with advanced coating and sealing withstands marine corrosion. Clients can select grades according to site conditions.
High-temperature Cooling
Ambient temperature rise derates generator output. Equipped with a 50℃ shaft-driven radiator (versus conventional 40℃ solutions), the genset maintains full-load performance. Combined with a 1000L base fuel tank, it supports extended continuous operation.
Fuel Compatibility
Fuel in remote sites often contains water and impurities. Beyond the standard engine water-oil separator, an external high-precision secondary filter is added to protect the common rail system and enhance reliability under overseas tough conditions.
High-voltage Paralleling
Unlike low-voltage units requiring extra transformers, high-voltage gensets output medium/high voltage directly to cut power loss and failure risks. Synced via Deep Sea controllers, units form an island microgrid with flexible load sharing for consistent power supply.
Integrated Safety Design
Safety is critical for high-voltage systems. Each unit is fitted with an independent earthing resistance cabinet and thermal insulation for exhaust pipes. All components are factory pre-integrated. On-site work is limited to external cable connection and system validation to commission the complete fully commissioned turnkey solution.
LEES supplies not merely equipment, but also in-depth customization for offshore scenarios, including corrosion protection matching, optimized cooling solutions, upgraded fuel filtration, high-voltage parallel control and integrated safety systems. We tailor holistic solutions according to local climate, load characteristics and maintenance capacity. Post-delivery technical support and spare parts guarantee keep island power stations operating in optimal condition.
